The world’s fastest 3on3 basketball tournament came to a blockbuster finale this weekend as the Red Bull Half Court World Finals unfolded beneath the iconic Museum of the Future.
Dubai, UAE – November 29, 2025: Over two intense days, 30 extraordinary teams from 18 countries battled in front of a sold-out crowd on a stunning, fully interactive LED-court, pushing the limits of creativity, speed, and street style.
Here is everything you need to know:
• Egypt secured the men’s title after a high-octane final against North Macedonia with a commanding 21–12 victory. In the women’s bracket, Japan edged out Egypt 9–8 in a tactical thriller – marking Japan’s third Red Bull Half Court title since 2022. Both finals showcased the event´s signature blend of flair, creativity, intensity, and urban streetball culture.
• Japan’s Kiri Endo claimed the women’s FILA MVP honors: “I’m so happy to bring the trophy back to Japan. We’re so proud of our team,” Endo said. “We were having so much fun, and that made the win even more special.”
• Egyptian star Mohamed Taha earned the men’s FILA MVP trophy and said: “I worked hard for this, but it was all about the team. The atmosphere was insane — the fans were going crazy. It felt like one big family in the stadium.”
• Thousands packed the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Plaza, where the Museum of the Future served as a breathtaking backdrop. The architectural landmark transformed the open-air court into an immersive arena that blended culture, design, and sport – a setting that elevated the tournament far beyond a standard competition into the future of basketball.
• Six local-themed courts, created by a UAE-based artist, brought the city’s identity into the tournament showcasing an interactive LED-court pulsing with graffiti-inspired designs from the past editions of Red Bull Half Court. Responding to the game in real time, the floor transformed each match into a dynamic visual performance that added an entirely new creative dimension to the sport.
• Global basketball figures brought even more star power to Dubai. The Professor, the renowned streetball entertainer known for his creative handles and viral clips, joined the action alongside Dušan Bulut, four-time World Tour Champion and Olympic medalist. EuroLeague star Džanan Musa, now playing professionally in Dubai, made a courtside appearance and shared in the celebration: “I didn´t expect this level of basketball and toughness. We saw some incredible games and I was really happy to witness it here in Dubai.”
WNBA star Arike Ogunbowale also joined the 1600 spectators sold-out crowd: “All the games were super competitive, went down to the wire. We saw great defenses, and great baskets scored. It was super fun to watch. If I’d warmed up already, I’d have loved to jump on the court.”
• Dubai injected a distinctive flavor into the World Final. A drone show lit up the skyline, Jet Suit World Champion Kalfon soared above the LED-court, and Egyptian rap star Marwan Moussa delivered a high-energy live performance that had the crowd bouncing. Red Bull dancers including Vietnamese popping icon MT POP, winner of the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final 2024, also took to the court with a dynamic showcase that pushed the energy even higher. The result: a streetball world final transformed into a full-scale cultural event.
• The tournament followed Red Bull Half Court’s fast-paced 3on3 format: 3 starters and 1 substitute, 10-minute time cap or 21-point maximum. The “Own the Court” bonus rewarded teams that dominated in group stage scoring. A tactical twist came from two dedicated 3-point spots — three-foot circles positioned two metres behind the arc — adding another layer of excitement to the game.
• Since debuting in 2021, Red Bull Half Court has redefined global streetball, bringing its World Finals to Rome, Cairo, Belgrade, New York City. Dubai 2025 adds another bold chapter to the tournament’s growing legacy, as Red Bull Half Court continued to push the boundaries of urban sports, culture and creativity.
• The global 3on3 community now turns its attention to 2026, when Red Bull Half Court will bring the World Finals to the Philippines.
