10,000 spectators witnessed the Battles at Intuit Dome, Los Angeles
[Los Angeles, CA — October 11, 2025] Jaïra Joy from The Netherlands became the first female dancer to win the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final title, rising from a National Final victory to global glory. The 2025 World Final marked the first-ever all-female final, and at the Intuit Dome, a crowd of 10,000 packed the arena, witnessing her captivating performance in a showdown against 2023 world champion Waackxxxy.
Here is all you need to know:
• The World Final week kicked off in Los Angeles on October 8–9, where national winners, from 46 countries, competed for eight spots in the World Final stage.
• Those finalists joined eight wildcards at the Intuit Dome on Saturday, where more than 10,000 fans brought the energy for the first Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final held in the Western Hemisphere. The event was hosted by celebrity choreographer Charm La’Donna and hip-hop media legend Sway Calloway.
• After conquering the Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final in the Netherlands and advancing through two Prefinals, hip-hop dancer Jaïra Joy took to the World Final stage, where she delivered a high-energy performance and clinched victory in aclosely matched tie against South Korea’s waacking star, Waackxxxy.
• Jaïra Joy said: “The crowd was incredible. Their energy gives you this insane boost — you could feel it from every direction, even from the stage. It really pushed me to go all in.”
• Unlike other competitions, Red Bull Dance Your Style challenges the dancers with impromptu music and is decided by participatory audience voting. The World Final dancers competed one-on-one to unpredictable hits from funk, pop, rock, hop hop, old-school classics and more – and with no panel of judges, no planned choreography and no pre-chosen music, they had to flex their skills, musicality and stamina to win the votes of the audience and advance.
• Jaïra Joy, 18 year old, is now only the fifth dancer to win the prestigious global title. Previous champions include Dutch dancer Shinshan (Paris 2019), Japan’s The D Soraki (Johannesburg 2022), South Korea’s Waackxxxy (Frankfurt 2023), andVietnam’s MT Pop (Mumbai 2024).
The next edition of the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in 2026 will light up Zurich, Switzerland on October 24, 2026.
